Investco Financial collects personal information in order to provide insurance and financial planning services. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is protected.
Information we collect
We collect the personal information needed to advise you and to place and service products on your behalf. This typically includes identifying information, contact details, financial information, and — where an insurance application requires it — health information.
We collect information directly from you, and from parties you authorize such as insurance carriers, your employer's plan administrator, or other professionals you ask us to work with.
How we use and disclose it
Personal information is used to assess needs, prepare recommendations, submit applications, service policies and accounts, meet regulatory and record-keeping obligations, and communicate with you.
We disclose personal information to insurance carriers and service providers as required to deliver those services, to regulators and law enforcement where legally required, and otherwise only with your consent.
We do not sell personal information.
Protection and retention
Access to client information is restricted to those who need it, is controlled through individual accounts and permissions, and is logged. Information is retained for as long as required to service the relationship and to meet legal and regulatory retention obligations, then securely disposed of.
Your rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask that inaccurate information be corrected, and withdraw consent for certain uses, subject to legal and contractual restrictions.
